I don’t think we ever properly thanked you for such a good job you did managing our property last spring. You did just as advertised: took care of everything! You also solved a lengthy, major maintenance problem (a second story leak in the middle of a wall) with 5 new tenants, the previous tenants, the builder of the new property, and the strata association, all pointing fingers at each other – and no one fixing the leak! We can’t forget your one word reply when we asked you about the status of the leak repair: “Done” was all you said. My wife Lina and I lived in a condo in Rosedale Gardens between 2005 and 2009. When we moved in the strata was managed by volunteer unit owners. Approximately 18 months later the strata voted to take on a full time property manager. I was on the executive committee of the strata at the time and after several rounds of interviews with different firms, it was unanimously decided based on a number of quantitative and qualitative factors to engage Tessa Hydes PM as the new strata manager. As an owner and committee member I felt the quality of the service we were giving to members improved literally overnight. Tessa took over the book-keeping and did a remarkable job getting the accounts up to date and took a proactive approach to collect outstanding fees, deal with capital expenditure and worked very well with the committee and members to plan for major capital works and improvements such as replacing the roofs of all the buildings in the complex. She held regular meetings, was available to all members to replace minor stuff- ie light bulbs and broken poles, to putting out “fires”/ making emergency calls, and completing regular walk-throughs on the property to ensure we obtained the best possible service and all issues were being managed and addressed. Excellent marks all round and I would recommend Tessa and her team on the highest possible terms to friends, relatives and all my local and international property clients.

I just wanted to say thank you for managing our property over the past 6 years. The Cayman rental market went through some highs and lows but throughout you always seemed to find a tenant in a very short time frame and, more importantly, a quality tenant at that. All in all, I think the property was not rented out for a total of 8 weeks of the 6 years you managed it and 2 of those vacant 8 weeks we actually booked it for a personal holiday.
Anyway, thanks again for everything. You have been a really great source of comfort knowing that our property was in good hands and being well looked after, especially with us living so far away from Cayman. I only have good things to say about THPM and will continue to do so.
One thing we are certain about is the fact that you’re the best agent out of all on the island – just so straightforward and thinking about everything we want – which was v nearly achieved yesterday! We will therefore definitely be going through you when we finally do decide and also when we buy something (we’re looking at buying a san sebastian townhome as an investment when a good one comes up).

I am not sure you remember me. My name is Doug and almost exactly 6 months ago I emailed from the U.S. asking for your help with finding an apartment. I was moving to GC to work for Hurleys Media AT Rooster 101. You were amazing and emailed me back quickly and was so cool with answering questions I had and making me feel special. It meant alot to me and I have shared that story many times including on air when I arrived!
Fast forward 6 months and I found it Ironic I was voicing and producing your radio commercial for Hurleys Media and thought it was pretty cool!
